  That is a zombie, former city lord of that city... There was some info in novel but the higher rank martial master dies, the more human traits/abilities he has as zombie.

  though it may not have the worldbuilding & well-developed plot (hence slower progression) like global martial arts, it's still engaging & I like the comedic moments. it's easy to understand the cultivation system & they keep things pretty simple. best of all, Lu Sheng is calculative & doesn't waste time as he pursues his goals.

I'm so used to manhua like this being utterly terrible, I'm scared this might suddenly turn around and become bad. I'm not saying this is a masterpiece or anything, but at least there are people capable of logical thought, and even the mc is one of them

I get looking up and using the martial art... things, tonics and skills and what-have-you, but i'd be looking for how much I could exploit.
Like the A.I. How interactive is it?
Can it be convinced to cough up advanced technical documents I could use to recreate it or other things in the past? (If I had enough money, anyway.) < one thing I enjoyed about mansion in apocalypse world.
I'd also regularly be seeing if my permissions had updated to let me at the advanced martial stuff.
