1. Killed the King
Loki's father probably sided with the world nobles probably being in delusion that would bring peace or was bad guy (I hope it is former). Loki saw this as a mistake as he always believed that world nobles are corrupt but King had gone beyond return to the point he had to kill the former king and did not tell anyone of this matter and thus all hell loose. Hence his hatred for world nobles.

2. Destroy the World
Loki is probably inspired by that mural unlike other giants that think it is just drawing. He probably thinks that the 3rd world is bound to destroy by either sea level or red line getting destroy and he wants to be the destroyer that destroys the red line hence the false claim of Nika
