I just mean she didn't even have at the MINIMUM a doubt that maybe he's alive. Even if he's alive not everyone immediately gives up the hope he's Alive even if it's a natural disaster unless there's a proper corpse..... if they're desperate which now I realise I myself f*cked my statement....but still she would at least have hope he's alive no? And that doubt should form after the resurrection was not possible for vikir.

Lufkey 1. Fine, that can be interpreted in any way. Maybe literal or not, so I'm not going to focus to much on that.
2. So, again, you are bringing up a point I've already stated to be true and I didn't dispute that. Now, if you are bringing up that point to make the argument that she's not desperate, then yes, she's not desperate to live. She's desperate to meet the mc, that's her drive at that point onward. In no way was she clinging to life for survival, she just wanted to resurrect MC and her cousin. That's it.

Again, she was desperate to bring mc back to life, but it failed in a spectacular fashion. She was on death's door but then came the demon and the hope of getting him back. And again it wouldn't have been avoided because:
1. The family said he was dead and were keeping it a secret
2. She last saw him fight that big bug mama, then later explosion.
3. The premise/implication of being targeted by a creature synonymous to natural disaster.
4. I just reread it and she said that she would also go look for him. This implies that she also searched for body and/or soul of mc in the areas he most likely will be at.
5. Her own family, using their world's common knowledge of the big bug and the reaffirming narrative from the mc's family would also reinforce the notion mc is dead.
