    Me three. While it feels bad that she doenst get her feelings reciprocated, its better that he let her know early on before her feelings develope more and learns the truth in a hard way. And the way he let her know was by far one of the gentlest way I have seen.
    
    And to further the imposible difficulty, not only the girl MC is in love with a future commander of the sworn enemies of his family but she also has a memory block placed on her that blocks/suppreses her memories of him.

So let me see if I understood this correctly, the reason why the scholar bitch destroyed the 3eyed scholar's mind was beacuse she feared (correctly) that in a not so distant future he would outshine and outpace her as a genius scholar. A fear developed by her percieved inability to live up to the expectations placed on her. Not only that, she may have been also hunting down other young future masters just because they didnt bend to her will and joined her social club.
If all of that is true, then she is a dumb petty b1tch.

She will a mad petty b1tch once she finds out that the only other female candidate to her club rejected the invitation, but not before cuttting the right arm of a saddistic club member, and one of the most well known members is missing, and also is the one who instigated this whole mess of the last six chapters or so.
