Thorfinn: You musn't, think about why we created this country. Think, Einar! Think about what we vowed we made 20 years ago! Think about Arnheid, Einar! She wouldn't have wanted to see you like this. Einar: Shut up, Thorfinn! DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT HER!! Thorfinn: Einar! Einar: Shut up! Thorfinn: Stop blaming yourself, it wasn't your fault! You don't have to live like this. Einar: No, it was my fault. It was because I tried to help her to escape with her husband that she got killed! Thorfinn: Einar, stop it. There was nothing we can do, we can't save everyone. Which is why, I will take the responsibility not as a king, but as your friend to stop you from doing this! Einar: THORFINN!! Thorfinn: EINAR!!! . . . 20 years ever since the founding, it was the first and one of the most terrifying war to have ever fought in Vinland.

You make it sound like a bromance rather than just explain it in a simple and single term for brotherhood that transcends. It's called "Blood Brotherhood"
This feels like the end of the prologue, which is crazy considering how much shit has gone down and that it's 93 chapters; but we finally get Thorfinn starting his journey to Vinland.
Truthful_OneBecause we've been lied to most of our lives, it's men who are the romantics. There was a reason in the past that marriages were arranged in almost every culture, marriage in the past wasn't so much about love but more along treaty so you and your neighbors didn't loot, rob, kill, etc one another because one of your family member married into theirs and if love took hold great. We're taught men are the shallow ones but survey after survey shows the opposite, if a man finds a woman that meets 80% of what he wants he's very happy and satisfied with it, multiple surveys shows that most women wouldn't "settle" with a man that met 80% of what she wants. When it's put into this perspective, you know why we don't find women of this nature.
