    I disagree I have seen other ones where the mc doesnt drag out their revenge and kills the bad guy soon and then the author has the mc evolve and becomes normal again, getting a life and friends and goes on adventures. And usually when the author does revenge as the main point the way the mc died is way worse, as in more betrayals a way worse death or friends and family are also killed, this one is pretty tame.

      there 3 kinds of revenge stories
      
      1 Fake Revenge story
      this was supposed to be a revenge story but along the progress the mc is forgotten about their revenge and not impossible to eventually dropping it, hence the fake
      
      2 Pseudo Revenge story
      a revenge stories where the plot device is mc regressed to their younger self, then they started to planning for their 'revenge' as to change the 'future' with their experience in whats upcoming, hence its pseudo
      
      3 True Revenge story
      where the avengers exacting their vengeance with no regress, no turning back time, no mercy, the mc carrying their revenge with the gruesome way possible even if they need to come back from hell (or death) for the sole purpose of bringing justice to the injustice
      
      what you describe falls to the first category they are fake revenge, when the story is a true revenge then the vengeance will be enforced no matter what, no dropping it half way no doing it half assed, thats why better to drop all those fake revenge as they are a phony, the pseudo revenge is still a tad better than those fake revenge

        I disagree again. Killing the person is still revenge you dont need to drag it out for years for it to count. Also for this guys betrayal its very weak for this genre, he just poisoned the mc and killed him. He didnt kill the mc slowly and kill all his relatives and friends and village. He also wasnt betrayed by a large group of close people so its already weak. I never said the mc should drop the revenge just not take forever to get it.

        So say the mc doesnt wait for revenge and he gets it within the first 10 chapter if he goes beyond just killing the bad guy say he tortures him and mutilates him and destroys what he loves and it takes 2-3 chapters is that not satisfying enough? Can he not then go do other things or does revenge need to be the entire story and the end.

        thats it, the thing with this pseudo revenge story is established with mc do this and that first before the revenge takes shape rather than the bold move where they went straight for the revenge that only happened in true revenge story, so kinda like egging the revenge target rather than climaxing them right away

Idk if I dropped a review of this manga before, but let me re-drop a review just in-case, since I picked up reading this again from scratch. This review was made around chapter 50.5:

In short, it's slop. Reading this story is akin to just shutting your brain off. It's a mix of awkward yaoi romance (yeah, it actually has yaoi), harem (a bit on the underwhelming side), and okay-ish battles (I think the battles are the only thing decent and the design of the Creator God, I don't know). Now for otherwordly stuff or any focus for world exploration, there's nothing, so.... TLDR; Slop, read only if you're really bored, horny, or both.
