Let me be honest... I'm only still reading this because I'm too far and have dedicated more time than i should to quit. The story is a bit repetitive and Yang Kai flips on a switch depending on powerful he is. I really love some of the characters and the plot is alright. I only have 2 problems with this manga, characters get forgotten and never brought up AGAIN, and the translator changes by chapter 120 and it's doesn't get better until much later not to mention the terminology of the different cultivation stuff gets changed sometimes and it gets confusing... But I rank manga and anime based off if I could introduce a normie to the story without fear of a law suit, this manga gets a 6 out of 10 when looked at it realistically but based on my own personal it's a 9 out of 10. My favorite waifu comes from this manga, and the fights are very entertaining, not to mention yang Kai can be a badass when he knows he can't lose.
