I am finally feeling the DEPTH in this story. All the previous chapters which seemed "dull" were actually intentional. Originally, it felt like I was watching an idiot who just gets used by "others" since he was "dependent" on others. But now the author reveals that it was all intentional foreshadowing due to Bam's misinterpretation/misperception. He was trying to define himself for "others" instead of defining himself for "himself". Adding the philosophical element of defining himself for himself from himself suddenly gives meaning to those previous seemingly meaningless story
