I think you have misinterpreted this, 777 is an angel number that provokes a human to seek guidance and influencing them to embrace their knowledge and wisdom for the better of others and themselves. 777 is in reference to kens downfall as a character, his turn away from sanity and to attempt to lighten the burden he is currently facing. Black clouds are often seen in panels before kens appearance and black clouds are often symbolic as negative emotions further portraying his unwanted downfall as a character. comparing chapter 1 ken to now, ken would hate himself. ken is no longer half human half ghoul, now ken is just a ghoul with a human consciousness. sorry for the long explanation but just felt like this could improve yours or somebody’s insight to this masterpiece of a story!
