Maybe allowing the captured princess of your sworn enemy to wander around your kingdom freely and talk to high-ranking officials wasn't the smartest idea. Maybe it would've been smart to throw her in a cell and forbid her from talking to anyone who didn't have a compelling official reason to talk to her.

I really don't understand why Leon doesn't just take the two loyal waifu, hope on his uber-ship and fuck off to parts unknown? That entire civilization is a major shitshow and they don't deserve to be saved. Maybe grab the MILF queen too just to protect her, or at least offer her and only her support to clean up her kingdom and get rid of all the scum.   Luckily they are smart and are keeping two steps ahead of the rebel group if Leon was in any prison he'd been killed already but if the Nobel faction was smart they'd try to recruit Leon rather than make an enemy of him all they are really doing his forcing his hand when the time comes like that one noble girl who tried getting them attacked by Sky pirates she and her family lost everything several chapters back.

    Likely keeping him prisoner to have him take a position of status after what i'm assuming to be a culling of the colluders when shit hits the fan, by making him either a key player in supressing their rebellion or having him identify the visitors who are likely to attempt to kill or beat him for info. Which does make me wonder if after this arc the internal politics of his residence is somewhat resolved, what'd be next? Waifu development? Him serving justice to his sister in the reincarnated afterlife? Or luxion as the final final boss

No, but honestly, the ruling class of the kingdom is just plain f*cking incompetent, no matter how cute the Queen appears.
Gender and class discriminations are one thing, but allowing multiple enemy factions to gain political power in your own kingdom, while
being unable to even protect one of your most loyal (and most powerful) subject is just bloody pathetic.
If not for the game plot, I'd say just let it die and be reborn as something better.
