      I mean, idk about it getting "axed", but just finishing? He will have accomplished everything he set out to do after going back once this fight is finished. Unless they start an entirely brand new story, idk how much more you want. Not every series has to be 300 chapters.

                  The 'why?' of what he's doing has always been for the people he cares about even if the number of people he cares about has grown alot. while the 'how?' of taking care of them has always been careful and strategic.

                      HateMe I think the manga's point is that the MC is rightful to not intervine, yeah, shit had happened, and the character had gone trought the wringer- But that's the point isn't it? If an MC in a shonen gets bodied by a nobody in the early stages and gives up then that wouldn't make him a shonnen MC, he admits, "My cheat re-incanation might've made thing easier, but that would take away the grow of the characters within this story"

                      Yeah, he could've blowed away the challenges and made everyone safe... but that means he'll have to spend his entire childhood bailing them out. The Author made it clear, anytime the heroes stumble they dust pick themselves up and dust off to keep moving forward.
