Yendrian This is really good, and extremely sweet, definitely recommended.
And for everyone here saying that "the MC is a beta" or that he's "lame and boring", being a good person is not lame. This MC is a sweet guy with a great personality and a great relationship with his girlfriend. Using words such as "being a beta" honestly says more about you than about the manga itself. If you use these expressions irl then you should get a reality check before it's too late.

Still, maybe it's not you cup of tea, and I respect that, but seriously be careful if you use these kind of expressions unironically or you will eventually get in trouble sooner or later.

Dice_24K Anyway, once that's done, everything established gets... frozen for a bit while this mess needs to go and get resolved. I didn't go into details but Mr. Main Character is included in list of characters that withstand the test of life and grow and it happens again here. Motivation and intention are important and in this world, the reason you wield a blade is reflected clearly, so being fueled for revenge is literally gonna do more harm than good, and the plot gets more complex.

I do wanna bring up the most mysterious enigma of this manhwa: the emperor. What's with this guy? He's so strong that he's at least as strong as Mr. Main Character, maybe stronger, but he's the emperor that walks around with one or two of the other strongest characters in this manhwa as bodyguards; there was an entire arc introducing one of these bodyguards and it resolves all on its own in an almost anti-climactic way. I didn't understand it at first, but I thought the first bodyguard dealt with him and I misunderstood, but nope! The emperor just handles it himself, directly, without any problems. This pops up again as it is the last thing to happen as the emperor pops up, deals with the last of the problems that might get away with no freakin' difficulty -> and proceed to tear apart the long term plans of the bad guys entirely. I would complain, but it was a bit too awesome.

Finally, with all that done, we get a time skip and another chapter wrapping things up, taking us back to where the initial goal was. It was nice to see. A manhwa that decently sticks the landing. Sadly, no epilogue of-sorts featuring life around a decade down the line where there might be some kids running around, but that fan service is kinda rare outside certain genres.

In conclusion, it's a nice work that I enjoyed. I'd give it a nice 7 or 8 out of 10. Enjoy!

Dice_24K Actually, I lied. I want to talk about this manhwa. I'll be dipping into spoilers territory, so here we gooooooooooooo.

First of all, it starts off by painting the life Mr. Main Character had until this point. It isn't a complete painting but it is very effective at communicating what to expect from him -> and it set a goal of sorts for him to pursue. This goal is Storm Inn. Why? That's part of the painting that will become more clear as we progress. Notice how "Overpowered MC" isn't a tag? MC isn't OP so it makes sense, but he is strong.

I like how Storm Inn starts off as something that just... bothers me soooooooooo much. Make it a few pages into chapter two and you'll know what I'm talking about. I was MAD. I was tempted to drop it right then and there, so I left and read like two other manhwa and eventually made my way back. The good news is that this plot point is not left abandoned and forgotten.

I imagine you can attribute the sequence of events as luck -> or "well, stuff like this seems to happen often enough, but things turned out different because Mr. Main Character is involved." Either way, he starts a bit of a family at the inn in his own way. It feels nice and it gives characters a chance to shine. On the topic of characters shining, there's this one dude who I felt was gonna be a massive pain in the neck -> but I was wrong. It was nice that I was just wrong and the dude was just a normal pain in the neck. lol

Anyway, from a rough start and a new start at humble beginnings, this mess of an inn is starting to come back to life. Mr. Main Character's goal is a humble one: simply succeed enough to keep everyone and the inn safe, happy and running. There is confusion as to why he has no ambitions of making the inn "the best inn ever!" which is great! Imagine if it there was never any confusion -> it would be weird and make the characters come across as artificially affectionate towards him.

Plot points roll up with the standard question: do they withstand the test of life that come at them? Or do they betray Mr. Main Character and bail? They withstand it and grow. Another event? Yet again? They grow and grow. Honestly, it was nice seeing people willing to stick together. I was about to tear up at one point when the inevitable happened. Yeah, Mr. Main Character's past catches up to him; but then the author pulled a sneaky on me. I didn't expect this so I ain't typing it to ruin it.
