    i like real incest in stories when they take seriously just how taboo it is rather than attempt to mitigate it by acting like nothing bad is happening. I wanna see a story tackle incest in a way that really causes a lot of friction in the family and friend groups and doesn't hold back the pain of it all.

That manga author dragged their feet during certain arc's/missions to give the novelist time to advance. and is now making up for lost time. Both author and artist work on other series and projects/other in-real-life events. so the plot pacing is bound to go out of balance from time to time. Especially since this is a down time arc being flooded with exposition after exposition, it happens. that and the mothers plot is finally being put into focus. The church twins and yorha, already being a heavy atmosphere situation.. We're about to be hit with YET, ANOTHER~! even more heavy situation.

And the reason this all feels even more rushed, is due to the flood of backlog chapters being mass released by the scanlator/translation teams.
