    All that is technically correct, but the author could have crafted it where she saves the day. Even with the current setup, it could have been like the beast will gone wild which gives her extra strength but also a threat to friends too. But nope.

      It doesn't make any sense to do that. I like Tess but she isn't the main character nor does she have much (any?) combat experience outside of training.

        people do be expecting a lot from her...she doesn't have plot armor bro and nor can she get level ups like the mc does in most stories....how is she even gonna put up a fight with these strong characters....lucas has a buff rn and all the crazy guys are strong as hell...sigh some poeple's dumbness really baffles me
