Damned shame if this is really the end of this series, it was good and interesting with a very different twist than so many typical manga. The MC had no powers and had to think and plan to keep one step ahead of the enemy and win by his wits. The idea of two competing groups of stage magicians taking advantage of the superstition of the primitive people to make them think they were powerful and engaging in one-upsmanship to gain the loyalty of the "audience" was a quite unique premise, and there was always an element of guessing "what is he going to do to turn the tables this time?" because he couldn't just overpower and fight his way through his problems but instead he had to outsmart them.


It was also really cool how the author would include explanations of how the tricks were performed using real stage magic techniques., there was a bit of an educational aspect to learning about how these performances are done that was really interesting.


If this is it, though, at least it was good while it lasted.
