          Okay, at this point Lloyd seems to have infinite mana, which is ironic given his past life having zero. It's funny how the gang got an official name and matching tracksuits for the occasion, the 7th Squad is simple but I like it.

              I feel like the issue is less about the amount of mana he has but rather the rate he's using it. Using a lot of mana over a period of time and over several large spells is easy to understand, but the sheer amount that's constantly flowing out is what's boggling

                    If she believes that's why he did all of this, then why did she ask him if it was for her sake? She should know that it was for his sake.
                    I thought she was simply saying it to put the lady in place. But he never did explicitly said that was the reason why he did it. And in this chapter he simply answered "no" when asked if it was for her sake. Which, to me, doesn't answer the "why".

                    Unless we the reader is suppose to deduce that, oh because he didn't do it for her sake, then it must be for his sake, then it must mean...and so on. Which is a lot of assumptions that I personally don't like.

                    And, like you said, if he did this not only for her, but for himself, then he should've answered "not only that". Or something to insinuate that it's not only for her sake. Instead, he simply answered "no". He didn't do it for her.

                    Eventually, we just have different views on this take.
