So why didn't the guy destroy the sword after sealing it instead of chucking it into the sea? Or if it can't be destroyed why not chuck the sword into the same place the demon lord's core was? The barrier would prevent people from reaching the sword and the sword itself can't use its special ability on its own plus the sword would be sealed up so it wouldn't be able to act anyways. Throwing the sword into the sea was just asking for it to be recovered. Hell, he could've even just kept the sword with him to make sure nobody took it.

Yeah, this situation is so forced, as it is pretty much a result of the mc's bad decision and the Pope's inaction (dude might as well not exist), if there's a noble faction that is actively damaging the Kingdom's stability and starving the people, as the leader of the country, you get rid of it, hell this is the definition of treason, you got the best assassins in the country as well as a dude who can level a country on his own and yet the option of making the problem diappear never even crossed your mind?

They have a very simple and clear solution to an otherwise very complex problem, and yet they go for the roundabout and honestly less effective way simply because the mc is kind?
