User-1887759992Ultra close range gun fight, badass. Iljin is going to develop terrible tinnitus, if he hasn’t already. Forget trying to avoid catching a bullet, far better to have a kevlar covered human shield.
User-1887759992Seriously, 2 “person” army. That along with “never know what hit em’” is a great deterrent. Bonus points for the our white haired number being as lethal as she is exy.
Mighty Keyboard WarriorThe kids should have already figured it out by now. If you are carrying a potato with you everywhere you go I'm going to assume you were born 1,000 years ago.
User-1887759992Badass yeah, stupid too. I would never want to send someone so critically injured, especially in commanding position out into the field. Handling comms, sure, but the morale loss from losing a leader like that in combat is devastating. If it’s not a last stand kind of situation, where everyone knows this is the endgame, then, an appearance is all that’s necessary. Still points for wanting to clean up his own mess. It seems like Iljin has also finally made a choice on how to deal with at least one of his old attachments. The (paraphrasing) “you should have done better” is less of just a rebuke as it is a comment that he won’t remain uninvolved if the situation escalates. His emotional connection the former village chief seems to finally have been resolved. Two can play at that game of “leave your past behind”, but for someone like Iljin, no everyone, that’s hardly an option. Well especially if you want to maintain some element of sanity or not be predisposed to emotional outbursts of the “demon-mode” variety. We all accumulate scars some more visible than others during the course if our lives, and if you live a life like Iljin where essentially you’ve compartmentalized your life into a few different categories (something I’m all too familiar with) than if you want to maintain some sense of moral control or perspective than letting stuff like this go is a terrible idea.
I’ve seen far too many individuals I would have initially identified as suffering from some degree of PTSD to utter psychos as those lines that seem increasingly abstract disappear entirely. The scary thing about people, especially those that live on the edge is that they’re all capable of almost anything. It’s not like these guys and one woman aren’t still useful in there own way. It’s just that I would ‘t ever want to employ them in a situation that has a higher chance of turning from an mission that is objective oriented, to an atrocity. The town seems to have it’s standards, but push anyone too far…
Anyway no question that he’s still tough as shit. The dude can’t stand on his own, but is still gunning for a fight. Sometimes that’s exactly what’s required, but I hate to see that in leadership. Hopefully, he reflects on this a little after Iljin clean’s up their mess. If he really doesn’t want to see Iljin take up a role here again he’ll need to broaden his perspective and make some hard choices.
PointFourThey are juveniles. As long as they are willing to do time, things might actually look up for them. The problem is the people around them. Their families for example wouldn't have easy lives with all the death threats. It'd also got out that Paisen's father tried to cover for them. Paisen himself is an adult so if he gets convicted, he might get death sentence.
Communist Bugs BunnyWomen fighting over a man is always a sight to see. Anyways, chapter 200 comrades!https://i.postimg.cc/j57FqSnf/i.jpgThe reaction guys show up at least once in every series, funni.
