  I remember I read one series on here that I had to stop reading because it looked very aggressively like it was going to become gay porn at any moment, I think it was something about a barbarian and a coliseum or something.

    That one's story didn't have any BL, only the artstyle is "messed up'". But that's only until half point. Later on, maybe due to readers complaints, the art became normal, with the story still great.
    
    If you persevered, it's a great read.
