Personally I think it’s more “ in the past I was just like my Dad but now I more like my Mom “ it’s like she has those two sides of her.. it’s pretty common in some respects.. like if she was a tomboy because of her Father then later she would be more feminine because she gets a interest in sex/love or something like that…!

But then again, would selfies and stuff have been around when she was younger? I mean, the daughter is 17 years old, even accounting this being set possibly at 2023, it would mean the mom would've ended her career in 2005. Twitter started in 2006, which would've been around the time she would be pregnant with the daughter. And Instagram started in 2010.

So I'd argue it's possible Mom might have had sites and stuff long before then, but considering the daughter's hobby, she probably wouldn't go THAT far back. So Sakura-San would have to be recent enough to capture her attention.
