I'm still enjoying the series but I think it's better to take a break from this until like 10 chapters are released. It feels like progress isn't fast enough.

The autor should check his source, that's not how you play domino. That just stacking pieces and made them collapse in order. Domino pieces are often use for this, specially before technology as lot of households had this game, and kids will use the pieces for this instead of playing the game, because is a hard game for little kids and it need 2 to 4 player. At some point the stacking of this pieces to make them collapse in order became popular to the point that some people start selling pieces with the same form but only for stacking and called them "domino" pieces. The real domino pieces are white, feels a little like ceramic and have a line in the middle that separates 2 sides and ea side has 0 to 6 dots. The ones that simply of 1 color and are tipically of wood and the use is for stacking them are the imitiation that are referee as "domino" pieces. But I don't think there is a name for that game or if it is a game. They are more of a contraption in my opinion.
