In the end the one that was truly pitiful and got the short end of the stick was the kid. Poor thing only ever existed because some retard with powers wanted to see someone else suffer and manipulated the whole process it took for it to come into life.

So she got her comeuppance, it shows that dealing with shitty people thinking you're going to get ahead will backfire on you sooner or later. This time it hit her pretty quick, maybe she'll even learn a lesson from it and find a way to redeem herself. Or perhaps more likely, she'll blame everyone but herself and learn nothing and thus the cycle will continue.

As to the dude, he's playing with fire as well and will probably be burned even harder when it's his turn. I have a feeling he's going to end up double-crossing the wrong person and end up dead. Be it a woman who snaps on him when he goes to drop her, or a man getting revenge for the cheating, or a co-conspirator who decides to eliminate him, sooner or later the odds will catch up to him and he'll meet a violent end.

People tend to forget whenever you do wrong to someone and that person pray/hoping for your demise or at least harm, it almost certain that will happen in form you never expect. (Since when i little i always reminded never hoping harm to whoever do me wrong. Coz it will likely to happen. The power of word is real.)
