Had a sort of a thought, given the focus we have on Noa, i could see her starting to follow D, disguised as sakurama, and transfer battallions, with him maybe helping with her PTSD nd all that, idk, just thought of that
User-1887759992Yeah past life and spared at the lake right? I’ve been skimming this one, but still a good pull. Fingers in many pies is a decent approach.
OppaiGodNah fam, she made her appearance infront of THE SOUL KING. Her literally idol lmao. Can't wait for her to fangirl just to get rejected and hate his music from then on.
Mighty Keyboard WarriorI don't know if I'm glad this is back. In each chapter almost everyone ends up dying. If you are in this deep I guess it should not come as a surprise I guess. haha
User-1887759992If he wasn’t a high schooler. Transferred from abroad is a little odd, but the military would have covered their tracks. Plus, as far as things are concerned with SK, they are highly focused North regionally but lack the international network, china and NK are just too much to worry about. The biggest thing is that gang, no even a relatively high level politician couldn’t poke around like that (period for the former, they don’t have access or the resources) and for the latter not w/o getting some serious scrutiny. As far as his file should look given how he entered it should be all green. Even if he was a foreigner or a Korean that lived his entire life outside of Korea, would your first thought be this deserves more attention since there’s a chance he’s a high level killer merc? Probably not. They likely checked if he was someone importants kid (maybe even with their resources the HK connection should have shown up) the gangsters actually have a better shot if Iljin s buddy didn’t tie up loose ends.
But to them this is just a routine job. In the followup do they really want to leave a trail suggesting they were loosing into his identity in depth? There just isn’t cause, they got unlucky, extremely unlucky. The politician should have been satisfied with just not being clearly id’ed, though he’d likely still be royally screwed.
Although normally, I would totally be with you. If he had a slightly different profile than seeming a little off I would have prodded. 20 somethings, signs of military service or high probability of powerful connections? Certainly. Know your opponent is always critical, but I can’t blame them for being blind-sided in this case. Well the panicked idiot politician demanding an excessive rush job probably didn't help either.
