Well, yes most of us who learnt history know the ending of this war.
Zhao might not be main character nation, but their wills, their spirits and their willingness to fight for their homeland with full might is to be admired, not to be made fun of.
Seika being the frontline of Zhao is misfortune.
They wished for no one to rule over them, not even Qin.
But, that day became inevitable the day Qin Dynasty had decided to push on for its ambition and it became clear Seika's enemy is Qin, for their people wish to be free of the fate of being ruled by other nations.
Seika being chosen by RiBoKu isn't his fault, but is a fate Seika can't escape from and need RiBoKu to fight on their side as much as he needs them on his side.

Now, then I can already guessed the reasons why RiBoKu suicided after this war.
1. War lost, he failed Seika. Guilty about it.
2. Kaine died this time.

looking at this chapter and next couple two not yet translated it seems like the author is writing himself into a corner and doesn't know what to do. he is boosting riboku so much that this fight might not go exactly like it did in history and i have a hard time seeing how he will eventually solve this issue without it seeming like absolute BS
