WELL WELL IF IT ISN'T THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY OWN ACTIONS.

Granted I don't think there was actually anything Han Bin could have done. Staying wouldn't have saved her. Maybe she could have taken up residence in his body like when she "fused" to help suppress the Guideline? At least he might have got to hear things from her directly though.
