luvininitially, the monk only want to dethrone the murim leader, because someone who fell from power is easily eliminated AFTER that. then, he changed the plan so that he dies since the murim leader fight too hard against the plan by making him the culprit of the bombing.
now, the problem with him stepping up and deal with the situation was that it would show to investigator that he plays a part in the murim leader`s death since his martial art is very distinctive( shaolin)
if he just let this big blade guy do the job, even if the investigators found out big blade assasin`s involvement, the monk can just throw the assasin under the bus and claimed that the assasin went rogue.
remember, his plan is to become the ruler of the murim and this kind of scandal is going to taint his reputation.
Shiro30well to your point, this manga has something for everybody's taste, there was even that ticklish scene....I won't be surprise if there some "little brother/ big sister" roleplay.....just saying
Deadmeat5150They out themselves with repeated comments that are always the same. And yeah, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they usually stink.
CDzzNutFugaku had a mangekyo, Shisui too, even Indra (and Indra sure abused his) and they all didn't need transplant, and I didn't talk about the eternal mangekyo just the normal one! As i said Hashirama cells would nulify the need for a transplant (Obito didn't need no transplant he basically used the other sharingan as a back up) it's implied to get the ETERNAL mangekyo you need the mangekyo of a close blood related (a sibling canonically shown in the story)
Deadmeat5150The plot moves along just fine. There's been no unnecessary filler or overly long backstories. The MC is a complex character who lived his entire life in believing the hypocrisy of the Orthodox Faction and has had to come to terms that he was a blind fool for doing so. He doesn't spare all his enemies, he's just not an idiotic killer and has a pretty good idea of the game he's involved in.
His goal is to change the Cult from the inside. Just killing people left and right does nothing to further that goal. And from your comments I can tell you didn't keep reading in order to watch how he brought down the Slaughter Palace by killing most of their assassins himself.
