The Nameless OneIf you asked all the people in leadership position, they would all respond that their ideal group would be the one that follows their every order. This is true for both good and bad leaders.
That doesn't make a leader controlling.
Leading someone by definition requires a certain degree of control over the actions of it's subordinates.
Some would call this directing, leading, commanding, controlling, managing, ruling, guiding,...
But those are just words people use to describe a relationship that can only be understood if you were ever in a hierarchical group with other people, where you were led / were leading others.
Leaders that are described as "controlling" have a strictly defined style of leadership, where they have the need to manage every action made by their subordinates, and if they can't - they will often resort to some extreme measures to restore their sense of control.
If you think that the MC of this story is controlling, then you probably had an fairly easy life.
Ballsdeep69From that explanation that's fair. But usually when I hear edgy it more so applies to characters that are overly serious or severe(or violent/aggressive/grim) for their setting or in general.
Ballsdeep69You've made no attempt to understand my point, some people have goals that aren't specific but continuous- that's it. Nothing about this is particularly controversial or strange. Your opinion is that this meaning of a goal should be disregarded but you haven't adequately explained why. Like it's distinct - not specific, he wants to do this thing most of his actions towards the goal of this thing and he takes every opportunity to engage in this thing, but once again odds are he will gain the goal of hunting this magic after this encounter.
SingleBiteIt's a 100% total overreaction considering that the "suspicious man wondering" is "normal man who literally just lives in the area" and the confrontation comes from bullshit rumours she just heard and believed.
Just ChillingForgave me, I have forgotten the scripture it's been 6 months. Maybe in the future when I'll remember it, I'll swiftly send a letter to you 🧐🤞
