This author is all over the place , he is treating killing peaopeople as nothing to worry, I hope he improves, normal citicens reactions wouldn’t be like that after some pirates start killing anyone they see…

  it's more like one piece in tone than anything real serious. Also they live in a world of monsters necromancy and magic. death is probably not an uncommon thing but when you're weak you run away right?

The author or illustrator knows his stuff. A palm strike is the perfect way to rattle the brains of those wearing motorcycle helmets. It’s the Combination of this degree of realism in conjunction with the more John wick type elements. I have some limited experience during the early days of establishing myself in the South Korean marketplace with the use of 깡패 (kkhangpae) handling the dirty work of businesses (no one likes to be cornered but this was interesting development). While never verified, it seems pretty clear whi was responsible given the timing. That said although obviously this fictional account makes far more liberal use of them and their presence in Seoul is overstated (the Jeolla region and Incheon come to mind) . Likewise the stereotype, still in this case it’s relatively accurate, of them running bars/clubs seems to be true enough. Lately it had been something I hadn’t even considered very much, but recently geopolitical chaos and turnover in SK political regimes has caused some unpleasant rumors to surface. As for political involvement if it had any basis in fact it seemed to be something that was rare in the extreme and almost entirely unverified unlike the famous Sung-Kim incident. Although in my most recent visit, less than a month ago, a slightly intoxicated regional manager, who’s a friend, did mention something rather uncomfortable comments concerning Busan. The lack of the signature sashimi knifes (though now far more restricted in distribution) also makes it the perfect country for #4 and Hajin’s knife work to shine. This manwha is becoming more relevant by the minute beyond just being a fascinating distraction, it will be interesting to see the direction it takes as time passes. I guess it depends on how ambitious the creator is. Depending on that I may have more to say. Still damn, the #’s would be convenient today. Little fires everywhere threatening s larger conflagration calls for more skilled operators. HK’s expansion into defense is also timely, and interesting. All things considered I would love to see an Africa arc and the question of how long Yu Hajin remain primarily a bodyguard and resign himself to cleaning up messes in SK is interesting.
