1. She couldn't null the contract with the demon. The only way for her to "null" is to die and she gained hope think that she could get the spell to work with the help of the demon.
2. Yes, she was resigned before meeting the demon and after meeting MC. I don't understand why this argument or statement written. Elaborate, if you can, please.

She not stupid, she was desperate and it couldn't have been easily avoided. MC's family were the ones who even stated that the MC was dead. And where he was presumed dead was where either the barbarians are likely to reside or, even worse, where the big ass bug that is considered a natural disaster resides, so no one in their right mind would send a unit to retrieve the body. So, no, going to the mc's family would just further instill the notion that MC is dead. She also wouldn't have found out the MC is alive due to the resurrection failure because she literally just invented that spell and used it for the first time. Even if she didn't invent it, she just used for the first time ever. Do you think a spell to resurrect the dead that failed and it was used for the first time ever, the caster would automatically think the person is alive? Especially, when there are valid evidence to prove that person is dead. We don't have to be magically or scientifically smart to have the idea that resurrection of a dead person would require some serious mojo and the consequences would be hella major, especially if it done for the first time, supposedly, in human history.

We agree on how saying MC being nerfed is completely wrong.

It literally was new territory. And yes she did resurrect her cousin cause the cousin was actually dead, but she wouldn't think that that attributed to her spell but to the demon doing it. Hell, who knows if it was the demon or not, all that mattered was what Camyu taught. And yes, the demon said it was the first time she couldn't find the soul of a dead person, but doesn't mean there wouldn't be outliers. Besides, you expect a desperate person who is not thinking clearly to put that idea together?
