I find it interesting that the story says there are 6 billion people on earth, which makes me wonder did 2 billion die because the current estimated world population is about 8.2 billion today. I did some researching and apparently humanity reached 6 billion on October 12, 1999, which is interesting since that is really close to the turn of the millennium and many people thought the apocalypse was going to happen in the year 2000. Did this story ever state what year it is in universe, I know they all have smart phones but given that this world has magic powers maybe that accelerated technological development. It would explain why the vampire lady was flying an F-14 earlier in the story since it was not retired from service until 2006.
did you read the following chapter before making this comment? just so you know in this chapter, chapter 81 that is, my thought process was that only one extinct species would be flooding the tower and that each one would have a different species in it. i had no assumption that they would evolve or devolve, only that the alpha of each species would be the toughest battle in each tower. i may have just misinterpreted what was said but before reading 82 i didn't think things would go that route.
It was said that extinct species would appear of a set type for each tower, the most recent and feeble of that type would be first. Ie. A lizard in this towerBut after each wave it become tougher, like how the lizards eventually became alligators.
Thomas_JCGSee, the fact that Arthur is getting beat up despite having such stacked deck is very troublesome, because almost always that means the author will resort to make the MC even more broken OP. And that's just lazy and predictable. I was not entertained at all watching this fight, because it feels just like they are stalling until Arthur gets more power plus ultra and some shit. It's like you are being forced to watch an ad before your video loads, it's just wasting my time.
Those two lances fighting was a lot more interesting because they had relatively the same power level so to win they had to outsmart each other and get creative with their powers. It makes it much more interesting to read because of the twists and how unpredictable it was. Last chapter I was actually afraid the elf had kicked the bucket so her comeback was a cool moment.
I really liked how this series started but now it just feels generic.
if she wanted him to do it one sidedly she should have gone though a means in his world that is a way he couldnt say no to, instead she sent a private DM on the trade network, something that is as far as i know basically a private conversation
Valon_MeshariReminded me of “ descended from divinity “ when Roman dimytri’s fiancee broke up with him while he turned out to be the most powerful character in the story
FeeniksAnd here it begins again. My guy is wrestling with galaxies in his mind, apparently training harder than the universe itself. But can it win against PP training? Therein lies the question of the age!!
