        Well when he still weak, people understand why he can't do anything and became timid. But when he had the power to do so, his timidness isn't gone. While people hope he will became more proactive, oh and also those block headedness he had about women.

      He didn't have the power to do in the first place. He isn't someone with powerful background. The things that he mentioned happened when he was on forceful journey with that black sword martial artist (forgot his name), when he was a normal scribe, when he wasn't walking the path of martial artist. Now, he's no longer that normal 'scribe'. This is character development. He finally has the power of martial artist and able to stand tall on his principle as a scribe. Now he's doing it. He isn't timid as he used to be. I bet if he was in his usual party, anyone won't insult him like lady in red just did.

I disagree. That’s not a mistake on his part at all. Let’s be fair. Natsuki and Reina kept telling him that Reina didn’t cheat, that she didn’t do anything wrong. “You misunderstood what she was doing. You need to talk to her and clear things up. If you do, you’ll understand.”

If you keep hearing that over and over, it’s only natural to start thinking, maybe I misunderstood what I saw. Maybe it wasn’t what I thought it was. So eventually, he was bound to have this conversation with her, whether in this chapter or later on.

And the conversation we got was basically her dancing around the issue and admitting, yeah, I was holding hands with that person, but acting like it wasn’t a big deal because she doesn’t believe holding hands is cheating. Come on now. Either way, the fault lies with Reina, not him.

He got the closure he needed, sort of. She’s still playing games. If she had just been upfront about what was really going on, maybe we could understand. But at this point, we know she’s cheating.

Yuuta did the right thing by walking away. That was the best move. Just walk away. Don’t entertain the conversation any further, especially if she’s just going to dodge the issue and talk in circles.

It is what it is.
