  i dont think so he either has the possibility to work his job 100 times more efficient or to retire with enough money so he wouldnt be able to spend it all and in my opinion not risking my life is better

    Not only that he’s idiotic enough to try selling a mythic item. I don’t even need any info, I’m very sure the ones that sold the S-rank item were people with solid backing. Selling a Mythical item while being a nobody is paramount to suicide, what’s stoping the rich and powerful from killing you? Laws? Yeah, right. Now I understand why he rejected the mage class. He’ll only survive due to plot armor.

So iirc from my norse mythology, he lost his eye drinking from mimir's well, as he had to offer tribute / sacrifice so pulled it out and lobbed it in, and was, like, the first time he put himself into bodily danger in his pursuit of knowledge.
That and hanging himself for nine days to learn norn rune magic are the standouts in my mind.
