Humans aren't flawed. They just are. Just like "the world" isn't "inherently good" The world just is. Good and evil, right and wrong are a choices based on often subjective and irrational parameters, that highly depend on the individual.

Therefore good and evil are a choice one makes based on ones own moral compass, or lack thereof. Humans aren't flawed because they can make this choice. If there was no ability to make bad or evil choices, everyone would be less, a slave to some motive force removing their ability to choose. Doing good would loose it's meaning, as it would become the only allowed way to act, thus becoming normal.

Thus, cultivation isn't evil, just like a knife, a sword, a pistol or a handgranade isn't evil. They just are. And the people using them for evil deeds don't make these tools evil. They have merely become a tool for someones choices, yet remain untainted thereby.

Just like making guns illegal doesn't magically remove them from the hands of criminals who want to use them for evil, but merely makes it harder for others to defend themselves against criminals with weapons, removing cultivation would merely doom humanity to be enslaved by the one who refuse to stop doing it.

The only way to stop everyone from cultivating is thereby to become and immortal god king that enforces their will, and their interpretation of good and evil upon everyone else, removing their ability to choose to cultivate by force, thus becoming a tyrant effectively enslaving all others to your will. Maybe a benevolent and kind tyrant, yet a tyrant never the less.

it could be both a future fmc and the one out to get uichi. our fmc is from a split where the bullying happened and wanted to save him and this fmc is from a timeline where it didn't happen. the question is why though? i had a theory that maybe she was doing this knowing he will come to her but that doesn't make sense since 1.it's another fmc doing the saving and 2.fmc probably wasn't that attached to uichi after so much time apart considering how last chapter she seemed to blame herself too ,but in a remorseful way, and probably didn't know about it until it was too late, which i think implies that she ignored him when they met before he died. so it's kind of hard to understand the motive of a future fmc to attempt to kill her childhood friend
