Crmsn_rainYeah. Like they didn't stop the bug infestation. Like Malaria still is an issue in Africa due to the sheer number of population despite we're having the cure nowadays. Like, as a biologist myself, the claim about centipede being porous is nonsense, chitin exoskeleton is solid. https://i.postimg.cc/4dRNvMS3/i.jpg Chitin or chitosa. Is the building blocks of the hard shell in insects, crustacean, mollusk and so on. It's not porous. It being porous defeats the purpose of it being exoskeleton in the first place. Centipede floats in water, they can swim. It's just they hate water. I've seen it myself as I was in a field study about entomology. There's no way it can floats if it's porous like he said.
AntSlimethe hiding is clearly a tactical choice, i mean gunko got fucking obliterated by usopp, these guys may be strong but they can not take a hit(except for the part where they're immortal) so fighting them is kind of futile, saul probably revealed the same on their side
