Yeah, agreed. Feels a little more fleshed out instead of a skeleton of a story and world. Still, that's not saying much given how empty SL is to begin with.

It's basically just a jin-woo circle jerk with some cool pictures, minimal dialogue, and comments from the peanut gallery who play a very minimal role if anything outside of just commenting about how OP the MC is.
There's no reason to care about any of the characters really because they're never developed, not even a little. I mean, sure you don't want his mom, little sis, or dad to die, but would you really care if they did? And that's the MC's family, even less needs to be said about everyone else. Beru is basically it now that think about it.
