I really feel this guy. This happens a lot in video games, even in real life. I hate playing support characters only for this reason. I have friends who barely play good while using any non-offensive characters so I chosed some support characters to help them. As a result, I stopped getting MVP's. Now they brag about them carrying the team and poke fun at me indirectly for bottom fragging or doing worse than them. When I get too tilted I start playing for myself. At that time I get the MVP but my team loses because they didn't get enough support. It's funny because they can't even point their fingers at me then because of me getting more frags.

  really? i dabbled a bit in mh before world and really went deep with world and from the start anytime i had a horn user in the party i knew the hunt was gonna be 2 to 3 times easier than usual, i try it myself sometimes but i'm not good with it but i sure as hell appreciate a decent horn user when i get one.

welp people engrossed themselves in flashiness that they forgot basics
my friend got his ass kicked by me cause he tried to do flashy body control movements while we both used small steel rods as knife, he claimed to control my body movement and was successful in it to except he ignored a basic thing known as terrain, his flow got interrupted by a brick and then what you all know happened a simple basic stab act

Who wouldn't want a fucking support who specializes in de-buffing enemies, it turns hard boss fights into a walk in the park. They're even more useful in PvP where you just stack de-buffs on enemies and just smack them til they die

It seems, there are more than three stories with the theme/trope of "being kicked out of the hero's party" because of being "weird", "plain", "nerdy", etcetera ... but MC is really super strong... (IS THIS A NEW A CATEGORY?)

Oh yes my fav role, buffer and debuffer. Extremely annoying w/o actual damage output.

      Have you read this? An actual AMICABLE split where his talent IS more suited to making a kingdom than boosting a party but getting left behind over and over.

      This seems like the mildest of these kinds of stories, except the Fief one.
      Usually the jilted hero either gets serious revenge or actually DOES outperform the "real" hero.
