  the relation of the spin off and the main series feels like an expectation versus reality at times, what happens to a commoner caught in the maelstrom of nobility politics, jealousy and bullying with no say in the matter and no way to break free. Honestly if any one of the capture targets paid more attention to her surroundings and suffering maybe they coulda lent a hand, but clearly they don't care enough to give a fuck about what happens beyond their 'meetings'.

A little surprised to see that Marie has considered the possibility of her brother reincarnating before Leon himself does (he only thinks she's like his sister but not on the possibility of reincarnation). I wonder if this fact will ever get revealed in this route, I want to see how they'll handle it!

Marie got lucky, though, from having to spend the summer alone in poverty and working herself to the bone in some dungeons to mooching off Leon at his private island with onsen and Japanese food. XD

True but unrealistic in expectation because expecting one kid to remember another by physical appearance, especially after they change so much (height, breasts, hair length/style, etc), and voice timber (notice how he somewhat remembers what she sounds like and her pitch should change from a child to a teen) that he'd remember her instantly. I look lot different now than when I was a teen, and even when I was a kid I looked different from when I became a teen, it shouldn't be too unexpected for someone to forget you from just a single chance encounter without exchanging some form of contact info and staying communication (Like why not other parties? This would have reinforced his memory.).
