Nice, pool episode so we get swimsuits!

My favourite bit is when Garf is imagining Taiju village one of Zabuton's kids is breaking the fourth wall and waving its leg at us. They just love doing that. So friendly.

The death devil has been faking to be Fami the famine devil and puppeteering things. The real Fami arrived on earth and fake chainsaw man attacked her, thinking she was the death devil. Before Fami could reveal the truth, the death devil interrupts them and revealed herself. Fami, annoyed, told her to kill herself if she still cared about humanity to stop the prophecy. Death revealed that she already tried and even if she could, it would be bad if the next death devil wasn't as fond of humanity, so she needs the real chainsaw man to eat her in order completely erase herself. She then comes up with an idea that's possible with the help of Fami and fakesaw man, but first she eats and kills them so that she control them. I'm not entirely sure what her plan is yet, but I think it involves spreading fear about chainsaw man and the war devil so that they're strong enough to kill her when her powers go out of control on the day of prophecy.

i havent done this in a while so i am little rusty but this is my review of martial peak.

story:
guy who is in a sect gets beaten and bullied by people for being weak. he is a young kid and finds an item to help him grow and defeat his enemies one by one. as time goes on he makes friends, foes and finds wives. yes multiple wives. to find happiness and grow stronger.

ratings:
[art 3/10]: honestly a shit art like at some point its so bad that they straight up use assets of cardboard cutouts of characters that they have drawn once and mirror the image and place it in different panels. so yeah not great...
[story 6/10] so without spoiling much. the author has some writing skills the ideas he explores and the power system all work pretty well untill a certain point i have some gripes about a certain enemy faction he meets later on called the ink-tribe but overal i am not too dissatisfied.
[characters 5/10] not the best, not the worst. there are some really fun and good character development in the first 600ish chapters. but then the author pretty much forgets some people and then there are others who completely get left in the dust who can honestly have great comeback later on in the story but alas.
[overal rating 4/10]: it isnt great nor is it really horrible. it is readable. there are alot of chapters but they are short chapters so you can get through like hunderd chapters in an hour or two if you are slow. reading all 4000 chapters in like 4-5 days isnt too crazy. so its great in that aspect. but its like popcorn there is no sustinance to it. its just fun to consume.

final thoughts/trivia: i remember when this story was first being serialized in 2012/2013 i think i started reading this around 2015. i grew up reading this story. so the main character yang kai kind of grew up together with me over the years. i always like stories like this where you actually see the mc grow up slowly. it gives a much better feeling than random powerups or timeskips. so i guess i am a nostalgia reader. if you wanna get into reading this my only tip for you us. just turn off your brain and put it on standby mode while you scroll. dont think too much about stuff and just accept and continue to read. that is all nothing more, nothing less.
