Putting aside the sudden yuri twist, Kaguya's reaction to it is actually promising, in terms of Tsukasa's dream and Nasa's mission. It's the most human-like display of visible, and internal emotion she's had this whole series. If this sort of thing keeps up, Nasa's chances of being able to appeal to Kaguya's understanding of humanity when she goes full Kaguya, are very high. I say this is one of those small, but key victories on the road to the ultimate victory.

This whole plot development might hold more weight if I could tell any of these student characters apart. I'm gonna be honest, at the end of the last chapter my reaction to the reveal was, "I'm sorry who are you?"

There is going to be a lot of licking in that love documentary.
