Honestly, this chapter left me with more questions than answers, and truthfully, I’m not sure how to take it. By the end, it was revealed that both Kazuya and Mizuhara had the same idea of creating a list of things they wanted to talk about, which is a good thing. You can clearly see that Kazuya was doing his best to keep the conversation going because he didn’t want to feel awkward just standing there doing nothing, which is also a good thing on his part. However, I wish the majority of the chapter wasn’t spent with him in his monologue and that we actually got to see both of them trying to talk to each other, or maybe see those ideas being implemented from Mizuhara's perspective.
Another thing that left me puzzled was that look Mizuhara gave Kazuya at the end of the chapter. What was that about? It was a powerful look. Overall, I’m not saying these are bad things, but after the last few chapters, where we saw Kazuya slowly breaking out of his shell, I was hoping this chapter would continue to push that so we could get a clearer understanding of what’s going on between them from their perspectives.
In the end, this definitely wasn't a bad chapter. It just left me with more questions than answers. So, I’d say it was pretty decent.
It seems to me that she doesn't have much experience going on a non-work date. So her questions for whether or not she wants to enter a relationship are very serious "Will I marry this person" type questions. (Splitting costs/kids/how he would spend time with her not on dates) Which is interesting since its the opposite of most first dates which are generally very casual and supposed to be just "lets have a fun time" type situations where the serious questions happen after a few dates.
Well, they had a lot of "first dates" with casual conversations and "just have some fun" moments. And as far as I recall she has no experience except work
the Last ArchmageBanditoSupremoIt seems to me that she doesn't have much experience going on a non-work date. So her questions for ...
Honestly, I agree with you. She doesn’t have much experience going on real dates. However, most of the questions she might have asked have already been filtered through her time with Kazuya over the past two years. Whether it was rental dates or just interacting with him in person, she’s gotten a feel for the kind of person he is, so she wouldn’t need to ask those basic questions.
But the questions she’s asking now are serious because, as you said, she’s genuinely thinking about being in a relationship. One thing I didn’t notice until you pointed it out was that she had written down, 'How many kids do you want?' And in the chapter, Kazuya ends up saying exactly what she had written, which explains why she gave that shocked expression. That detail actually answers one of my questions.
At this point, I’m still a bit confused, but it’s clear this is a make-or-break moment for both of them. She wants to be sure before making a final decision about their relationship. So just from the kinds of questions she’s asking, it’s obvious she really does want to be in a relationship with Kazuya—they just haven’t had the conversation yet.
I could be wrong, but this is where I’m at with it. But yeah, man, I completely agree with what you’re saying
QuadzHe must be insane... He was stabbed twice, and then they were transferred to his world. The first thing I would do is restrain her. If not, then as a last resort would be to, beat the shit out of her. She 100% an enemy... and then they are all going to an amusement park? crazy
YA-HAI really hope so too and will the other girl please hurry rescue them fast! I don't understand why that game switched from Kawana to Azuma out of sudden like it doesn't make sense.
MudleaperNow that you mention it, isn't it somehow amazing how Iku can find something positive in every uncomfortable situation, due to the nature of her quirk?
DammitCarlHe was strong enough to held back the pincer attack of the mantis beast during the stampede with just his forearms. Yes, the claws cut into his armor but the fact remains that he stopped them dead in their track.also considering that legs are the more powerful limb compared to arms, I'd say it's believable.
