AFter reading the Novel a bit (i'm just past this Chapter here).
I'm more and more convinced that this So called Great Calamity that his father spoke of, is actually Jin-Woo himself. My Theory is that the Grand Magician Kaindanku or whatever(forgot the name), who gave Jin-Woo his Player Status and Powers, was the Previous Shadow Lord, but he got defeated somehow, and prepared this Double Lair ritual to find a suitable succesor/vessel, nurturing him, aiding him to become powerfull enough and when the time's come use him or Posseses his body and mind.
Up till now he received quests to make him stronger and quests to "defend" himself from people the "System" identified as aggresors.
What if once he's powerfull enough, people and top hunters in the world get so scared of his power, that the system see's them as aggresors?, and he ends up with a quest to kill his ennemies or else his heart will stop beating and you see the Counter showing 8 billion?
He will be forced to comply, lest he decides to sacrifice himself.
Honestly I was looking for this comment ever since jin-woo's father appeared and said something about calamity. Wonder why no one paid attention to this from to yrs ago uo till now.

I hope it doesn't go like it cause it'll ruin the plot but some of your theory is possible specially the part in which he becomes the calamity his father was talking of. It might be true 'cause tusk once called him "the monarch" and was asking himself the reasons of him being there... moreover I think the one(s) behind his being the monarch may be the guys who misteriously showed up afterwards in the yeyu island arc after the final battle...
Wait his title makes it so that for every one percent of his health missing all of his stats increase by one percent, which would include vitality. If his vit increases then the amount of dmg he takes lowers which means the more dmg he takes the harder he is to kill 😳
I kinda feel like they've shifted on prorities man the last couple episodes have shown that the protaginist is kinda brainless but before that it was more about how he overcame situations using his wit the actions is the same instead of combining differant skills to create broken combos its only using his necromancer ability and his speed and strength, bu on the plus side we get weekly updates and better design...
That's literally all the stuff he has. He has high str, speed, and mana. He's strong enough to farm high level monsters so he doesn't need that much wit
Yeah I do completely agree but won't that get boring after awhile and if he was intelligent before, what happened to make him stupid it reminds me of OP isekai trope where the MC is super strong but is real dumb but he was intelligent before somethings not adding up here there was nothing about him removing his intelligence, or it could be a cop out for easier writing since a dumb character is easier to write for than intelligence one.
Dumb character would be easier to write because the author wouldnt have to make smart moves for him. He would just make his personaility so that he would do "whatever his heart tells him to do" This isnt bad and can still make a decent story, but usually makes the plot simplistic. tl;dr: Stupid mc = author getting lazy
I cant wait for the next chapter! I wanna see the 100th floor! I bet there's a Demon King atop, an arrogant one then he'll be trembling before our Shadow Master after they fight, and he'll be one of the shadow puppets
This makes me wonder if the effects of Blood Lust would increase with the skill level? Edit: Also does anyone know the rank of the ant sillier that made it out? Because Tusk is as strong as an s rank monster, and infantry are ares strong as b rank, so I'm wondering where they stand
TowerBreakerThe problem of these tower trials is the scenery was once a moment of a past that continuously repeats whenever there's a new challenger. Most likely all of the characters here in this scene are all dead and just repeats this moments forever.
Neko Majin CHe is not in love with her. He is afraid of her. It is classic abusive relationship behavior. She has threatened, insulted, and abused him to the point where he believes he is trash. He thinks Takamine is both WAY out of his league and the only person who could ever stand him. Now, if a woman was in a relationship like that, her friends would desperately try to talk her out of it. But he is a guy. And his only friend said, "You should go to her. She obviously loves you." Man, I hope he grows a backbone.
Manga/Anime/KPOP/ETC..this bitch, I would be taking back that bag I bought her right quick, bet she would talk then, now he is going to have to beat people ass for a misunderstanding of her making.
