You can see him in some of the earlier chapters. During the performance arc where the six fingers show up to find Amaduscias Poro, the person who disguised himself had the same eyes as Purson.
That's been my theory since Atori mentioned how Wett(?) was able to make themselves "vanish" from the whole walter park incident, and like the other person said he has the pretty much the same eyes as Purson.

I fully agree that the trope needs to stop completely though. It's genuinely annoying and off putting and not from a point of "that's what the characters supposed to make you feel" side but rather an annoyance directly related to the author because it's so unrealistic.
I get it, her friend is living alone and suddenly has some random with absolutely no prior affiliations now living with her. The concerns are VALID, immensely valid. However that's not how people express their concerns about that sort of thing. They arrange other places for him to stay, or fit themselves into staying with them as a 3.
From a romance story point of view, both answers get in the way of the romance and is incredibly annoying as it slows down things but they are REALISTIC. I'd much rather either of those answers since they would eventually lead to the FMC to properly talk with her friends about her feelings on this situation to make them understand how it is.
