      fr she already knows at this point that borderline no one can actually go against her despite any potential age gaps and she barely gives a shit about the noble talk/respect thing and drops it the moment she doesnt have to keep it up for outward appearances
      but despite all that she still keeps acting like the MC is some dainty slightly-bratty princess that needs protection and a 'proper teacher'

        No, the maid knows pretty damn well that Nia could take out an entire army by herself and acts accordingly - her issue with the MC hanging out in shady areas (and what caused her entering the underground tourney) was that there was a high chance Nia could be recognized and that it would resultantly effect both Magivision and her family's rep. It's less seeing her as a dainty princess who needs "guidance" and being boarderline yandere about her and more seeing her as an impulsive punch-happy thrill seeker who needs to learn better discretion....and being boarderline yandere about her.

          i don't get why people actually misunderstand the maid. its actually commendable she plays her roll knowing how futile it is. It keeps the MC grounded.
