This reminded me of Chinese Webnovels. Fluff and padding galore. I mean I enjoy a healthy amount of face slapping but sometimes they overdo it by introducing randos who exists just for face slapping and then once his job is done, he disappeared into the void; won't appear in any main/side stories.

  The problem is, this guy as a 5th grader syndrome, he thinks like everything is anime and Manga and he will not feel the pain etc .
