"KYU" is the name of Gardez70's long lost pet. The author and Gardez70 are estranged siblings who were separated in their childhood after a nasty divorce between their parents. Both Gardez70 and his sibling wanted to go with the dad since he seemed like the most sensible one but the mother insisted on keeping Gardez70. On the day of the separation Gardez70's sibling took KYU unbeknownst to Gardez70 never to see his sibling, father, or pet again. What makes matters worse is Gardez70 later found out the father had won the lottery and was incredibly rich.
