    He has been a dick, but I think there was a scene where he showed regret towards his actions against Firentia. That was at the time when Tia's father was ill and he said something inappropriate. Or was that another character? If it was the prince, he could turn out to be a good guy. He seems much more humble now that he matured, admitting that Lombardi is an impressive family.

      Nah fam, he's obssesed with Firentia and think she's his property, he's developing a superiority complex, he separated himself for Agentia because he seem them as inferior to him. He will be the emperor so why would he care for the petty squabbles of a lesser house? more so when the promise of the Lobardies are within his grasp, and he only has to tame the spifire lombardi lady whom he's extremely infatuated for?
      
      Yeah, he's the perfect design his mother build, but that design evolved beyond her ideas. She trew her own father to the wolves because she's an empress, why would the future emperor treat her any differently?

  Not exactly... while he is not obsessed about the Lombardis, he is clearly too stuck up into his position as "deserving more because of my status", which will surely still put him at odds with our MC.

        The good thing is that our MC is smarter than him, and has a lot more perspective to work with.
        
        But the bad thing is... she only has enough power as long as Lombardi are backing her up; if the family lose power, or she lose the backing, she doesn't have much strength against the prince.
        
        The only way she could have some backing outside of the Lombardi, is if her business make enough connections that moving against her might put the prince in a difficult position. But that would need a lot of work and a lot of connections!!

        Agreed with everything you said. Hate to admit it, but as strong as her dad's business became, it's still not even quarter the level of the Lombardi's. IMO, one of the factor his business can be this big bc he's a Lombardi and Lulac openly support him.
        What worried me now is the fact that Lulac collapsed and the prick firstborn ~~who I don't even bother to remember his name~~ is in charge. Not only he is incompetent, he also selfish, impatient and a natural ass who have inferiority complex especially now his brother's business is big. He's the kind of person who will blame everyone but himself over his failure. So I'm sure the first thing he'll do as a temporary head is trying to sabotage or destroy his brother's business. I'm sure Tia and probably Shananet won't just sit down and do nothing. But people like him with power, even for a while, have potential to destroy things that been built for centuries. And I'm sure the Angenas, the emperor or even other people will try to pull him and bring Lombardi on their side, or destroy the family. So to say I'm anxious is not an exaggeration
