imagine being thrown a lot of workload, out of nowhere. Just to make ends meet for your family as a very young adult. Working 10 hours daily on your job (probably something like 55 hours or more per week) and you'll pretty much work in a job undesired, left without a choice. Probably most likely had to drop college considered your were working in a delivery/storage-type job. Then think about what it will do to you both mentally and phyiscally? Will you able to take it without knowing when you'll get out of it?

Personally, I have sympathies for the alikes of MC, he did try to make ends meet but what probably felt to him like a prison, chained down like a slave. He couldn't take it, nor could I. Our freedom lies in something different from each other, some in music, some in reading and others gaming like this MC. Knowning he still loves his family i dont think he completely abandoned his family nor responsibilities, as a matter of fact, perhaps he is taking responsibilities but in a less traditional way? We should not judge one hardship without knowing much and without living in his place.
