TimSeriously what is wrong with that guy. She saved him, put him on the throne, went along with his conquests (even when she didn't agree with them) expanding his kingdom (that he is managing poorly), and not only does he turn around and murder her, married another the same year and had a kid the year after, but knowing someday she will return he trapped her home, and has been tormenting/trying to kill her since he discovered her three year old reincarnation.

User-8234147171Also, we see the god Knights curse Herald so that he might have backed down from their deal, and while Loki fights him, they sneak attack him, killing him. As for his fight with Loki, it might be that Loki had found out and saw that his father was unfit to rule the giants, so he wanted to bring him down to size the throne, or just to get Harald off the throne.
