I like to think of this book as a summary of everything he considered important. As if at the end of his life he decided to write out everything he cared for. Meaning this is only here cuz he cared enough to pick it from 1000+ years of memories as something worth remembering.

You might want to go back to the beginning. He is of a race of elves that other elves worship because they have literal complete control of all spirits, plus when they finally decide to end their lives as mortals they become the next generation of spirits, so they never really die. But they have ungodly grace with a bow, in which case besides those to op skills yeah everything else is things he learns from people who are op in their fields of study and skills
