  A bit different i think. Erza is a child of a human turn dragon. Her mother was already pregnant with her before she became a full dragon.

    Yes, the circumstances are different, but that doesn’t change the fact that Erza is still a child of a dragon. Denying that would be like saying her mother, Irene, never turned into a dragon and wasn’t one for 400 years. While she’s similar to Acnologia, she also lived as a dragon, so she is a dragon. Unlike Wed, who is half-dragon, Irene was a person who initially became a dragon slayer, who eventually became a dragon herself.

      Ignia is pure dragon from birth. Irene started as a human before turning Dragon. I expected there will be some difference.

        Not really. It was well established during the original Dragon Festival Arc and the Grand Wizard Games that Dragon Slayers are fated to become dragons. If you recall, the Jade Dragon who talked to Wendy confirmed this after Sting and Rogue were defeated by Natsu. This concept is deeply rooted in Fairy Tail lore.
        
        If the end result of Irene becoming a dragon is consistent with Fairy Tail lore—where Dragon Slayers are fated to eventually become dragons—then it really doesn’t change anything. You're just splitting hairs about how she became a dragon versus Ignia, who was born a dragon. The fact remains that, in the end, Irene did become a dragon. This doesn’t alter the reality that Erza is still a child of a dragon.

        Maybe there's something I miss. Why didn't the Dragon Festival changed Erza the same way it did Wed? Also, why didn't Erza ever exhibit any Dragon qualities... Maybe I'll go back to reread.

        Considering Erza's family lineage was a late addition to the ending of the original series, I can only chalk it up to something Hiro Mashima didn’t bother exploring when writing the final arc. Whether it would have altered Erza’s outward appearance or given her dragon-like features like Wed’s, it wouldn’t change the fact that she is still a child of a dragon.
        
        That said, Wed was recently dragonized, and since he wore a mask the entire time, we have no way of knowing if he had any dragon features before that. For all we know, he could have been just a human with abnormal strength, much like Erza.
        
        As I mentioned earlier, you’re focusing solely on the circumstances under which Irene became a dragon, rather than acknowledging that she was a Dragon Slayer who eventually turned into a dragon and lived her life as one. So, regardless of whether Erza has powers or not, she remains the child of a dragon.

        Both of Erzas parents were human, just one got turned into a dragon so Erza herself is full human. She also has almost no connections to her parents so why would she even care? Wed makes sense because one of his parents is an actual dragon.
        And just to point out, my logic is using your logic so you called your own logic wrong. You cope so hard it's insane.

        One critical detail you keep overlooking is that Irene was the creator of Dragon Slayer magic, meaning she was a Dragon Slayer before she became a dragon. This aligns with the lore stating that all Dragon Slayers eventually transform into dragons. Irene just happened to be one of the first to undergo this transformation, alongside Acnologia. She spent over 400 years of her life as a dragon, which still makes Erza the child of a dragon.
        
        Whether Rent-a-girlfriend or Fairy Tail, I'm always proven you wrong. Lol stay mad.

        Still doesn't change the fact that her biological mother, Irene was a dragon, and lived her life as a dragon for 400 years. Therefore, Erza was still be a child of a dragon.

What makes Erza and Wed's fight more interesting—and relevant to the conversation I’m having—is that both are connected to dragons. They’re the children of dragons. Whether or not they’re also human doesn’t change this shared connection. That’s what makes my point relevant, while yours is irrelevant and, ultimately, meaningless. I don’t see why we even need to have this discussion. It seems like you just want to disagree with me for the sake of disagreeing.         Hey dipshit, everyone in fairytail has connections to dragons. What makes their fight the same as any other fight is because one is doing something bad and the other is trying to stop the bad thing from happening. What makes your argument meaningless is the fact that Erza doesn't care about her connection to dragons, maybe you care but her reason for fighting is to stop whatever ignis is doing. Not some "oh we are both children some specific circumstance so this fight is more meaningful" type BS you are spouting.

        This might be the dumbest thing you've said so far. Case in point: the Thunder Legion—Laxus's group—three of its members have no connections to dragons whatsoever. Mirajane and Elfman? No connections to dragons. Every other member of Fairy Tail who isn't a Dragonslayer? No connections to dragons. Gildarts? No connection to dragons. The Pegasus Guild? No connections to dragons. Mermaid Heel? No connections to dragons. Honestly, you're fucking stupid.
